Our main expertise is with:
Non-Lucrative Visa (retirees, financially independent individuals).
Digital Nomad Visa (remote workers and freelancers).
Student Visa.
TIE Residence Card (Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero).
Although we are not a law firm, we collaborate with trusted partner lawyers whenever legal advice is required, so our clients can feel supported from start to finish.
In addition, we act as intermediaries to offer:
Tailored quotes for private health insurance (a key requirement for most visas).
Sworn translations of official documents through certified translators.
At Move Spain Visa, our mission is to make your relocation to Spain simple, transparent, and stress-free, while giving you the confidence that all requirements are met.
How much does your consultation cost?
Our pricing varies depending on the service you choose. We offer a free 30-minute consultation to review your personal situation and recommend the service that best fits your case.
You can view our base prices on the Services page, and we also provide special discounts for:
- Service bundles (for example: Visa + TIE card).

Our service is comprehensive support from start to finish: we accompany you throughout the entire process from initial preparation until your visa approval, which typically takes 4-6 months. This includes ongoing guidance on next steps, even if you don’t contract our TIE card service. Our pricing reflects this complete accompaniment service throughout the full process.
Every case is unique, and our goal is to adapt to your needs so you can achieve your dream of living in Spain.
What happens during the free 30-minute consultation?
During your free 30-minute consultation, we will:
Review your goals and expectations about moving to Spain.
Help you identify which visa option best fits your situation (if you’re not sure yet).
Carry out an initial eligibility check.
Provide you with realistic expectations and clarify possible challenges.
If you are not eligible yet, there is no problem — we will let you know what steps to take and you can contact us again once you meet the requirements.
If you are eligible, there is no obligation to purchase. We will explain how we work, outline payment options, and schedule a follow-up meeting to design a personalized plan tailored to your case.
Our goal is to make sure you get your visa approved as smoothly and quickly as possible, with no surprises.
Do you guarantee visa approval?
While we cannot guarantee 100% visa approval — since the final decision always depends on the Spanish authorities, the specific consulate, or the UGE (Unidad de Grandes Empresas) — we are proud of our expertise in the process and our commitment to staying up to date with Spanish immigration law.
Thanks to our experience with clients from many different countries, we can guide you based on the specific requirements of the consulate where you apply, making sure your documentation is prepared correctly.
If your application receives a requirement (request for additional documents), we will assist you in preparing and responding. In the rare case of a refusal, we can also support you in filing an appeal, provided the rejection is not fully justified.
It’s important to note that we cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside our control, such as issues with your personal history or information that prevents your entry into Spain. However, we always work with full transparency: if we believe your case does not meet the requirements, we will tell you from the very beginning, so you won’t waste your time or money. If we accept your case, it is because we are confident you have a real chance of success.
Our role is to maximize your chances of approval and make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
What languages do you provide service in?
Our main language of service is English. However, we can also provide full support in Spanish if you prefer to communicate in your native language.
We sometimes even mix English and Spanish (“Spanglish”) to make communication smoother and more natural.

What are the income requirements for Non-Lucrative Visa?
To apply for a Spanish non-lucrative visa, the main applicant must demonstrate €2,400/month (€28,800/year), plus €600/month (€7,200/year) for each dependent.
Proof of funds must come exclusively from passive income or savings—employment or active income is not accepted.
Every applicant’s financial situation is unique. During your free consultation, we review your specific circumstances and explain the best strategy to prepare your documents, maximizing your chances of a successful visa application.
Where do I apply for Non-Lucrative Visa?
Where to Apply for a Spanish Non-Lucrative Visa
You must submit your application at the Spanish Consulate that has jurisdiction over your legal residence, not your nationality. Each consulate may have slightly different processes, timelines, and document requirements, so it’s important to check their specific instructions before applying.
Many of the requirements are common across consulates, but the submission method—whether in person, by appointment, or online—can vary.
During your free consultation, we help you identify the correct consulate and guide you through the step-by-step application process, ensuring your documents and strategy meet the consulate’s expectations.
What Benefits Does a Spanish Non-Lucrative Visa Offer?
Live legally in Spain without working locally, relying on your savings or passive income. Bring your family, enjoy freedom to travel across the Schengen Area, and secure your stay in Spain with ease.
We’ll help you organize your finances and documents so your application has the best chance of approval—your smooth path to Spain starts with our free consultation.
What are the financial requirements for Digital Nomad Visa?
The Digital Nomad Visa requires €2,763/month for the main applicant, plus €1,036/month for a partner and €345/month per additional dependent.
These amounts must be proven through remote work contracts or client agreements with companies outside Spain. The income source documentation can be complex, especially for freelancers with multiple clients.
During your free consultation, we’ll review your specific work situation and explain the strongest approach to document your income for maximum approval chances.
Where do I apply for Digital Nomad Visa?
You can apply either at the Spanish consulate in your country of residence or online from within Spain if you’re legally present.
Each consulate has different procedures and requirements, and the online vs. consulate route affects your visa duration and renewal options. Choosing the wrong application method can significantly impact your case.
What Benefits Does a Spanish Digital Nomad Visa Offer?
A Spanish Digital Nomad Visa lets you live legally in Spain while working remotely for foreign clients or employers. Enjoy the freedom to travel within the Schengen Area and bring eligible family members as dependents.
Our team guides you through every step—from choosing the right consulate to preparing your documents—so you can focus on starting your new life in Spain stress-free.
What are the financial requirements for Student Visa?
You must show you can cover your living expenses in Spain—usually around $700 per month. This can be through personal savings, scholarships, or a declaration from parents/guardians taking responsibility for your stay.
Pro Tip: Tuition fees cannot count toward living expenses. We’ll guide you on the best way to document your finances so your application has the smoothest path to approval.

Do I need to translate and legalize/apostille documents for a Spain visa?
Yes. All official documents (birth, marriage, criminal record, etc.) must be legalized/apostilled and translated by a certified translator. Getting this right from the start can save time and prevent delays.
What is an apostille?
An apostille is an official certification that makes a document issued in one country recognized in another country. It is commonly used for birth certificates, marriage certificates, criminal records, and other official documents when applying for a Spain visa.
Friendly tip: Knowing how to get your documents properly apostilled can save you time and prevent delays in your visa application.
How far in advance should I start my Spain visa application?
Plan to start 4–6 months before your intended arrival in Spain. This gives you time to gather documents, prepare your application, and handle any requests from the consulate.
Pro tip: Starting early reduces stress and increases the chances of a smooth approval. During our consultation, we guide you on timing and documents so you won’t miss any deadlines.
TIE card and Residency
What’s a TIE card
A TIE (Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero) is the official Spanish residence card for non-EU residents. It proves your legal right to live in Spain, contains your personal details, visa type, and validity period.
Friendly tip: Once you arrive in Spain with a long-term visa, you must apply for your TIE within 1 month. Having an expert guide you through the process can save time and avoid common mistakes.
Where do I apply for my TIE card after arriving in Spain?
You apply for your TIE (Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero) at the local Foreigner’s Office (Oficina de Extranjería) or the police station in the area where you will live in Spain.
