What is the TIE card?
The TIE (Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero or Foreigner Identity Card) is the physical, plastic biometric card that serves as the official identification document for all non-European Union (non-EU) citizens who have been granted legal authorization to reside in Spain for a period exceeding six months (such as a Student Visa, Non-Lucrative Visa, or Digital Nomad Visa).
